The global energy sector is undergoing multiple transitions driven by climate change and technological innovations. Countries like China and India are leading the expansion of renewable energy, while the US and Europe face the challenge of modernizing their aging infrastructure. According to the World Energy Council, strengthening transmission networks and developing flexible storage solutions are priorities discussed at COP28. The International Energy Agency highlights that 1,500 GW of renewable projects are waiting for connection, and by 2040, we need to install 80 million kilometers of new grids to meet climate targets. The advancement of technologies such as electric vehicles and solar energy is also significant, with China leading the electrification of transport. Furthermore, technologies like digital twins and smart meters are optimizing grid management and preventing failures. In my view, the future of the energy sector will rely on technological innovations and global partnerships, essential for tackling climate challenges and ensuring a more sustainable and accessible energy system for all. #energytransition #innovation #renewableenergy #sustainability

With the continuous impact of mass production in factories, companies are investing more every day in preserving the earth for the long run. It has become a priority to focus on transitioning from fossil fuel to clean energy with evergrowing climate change and significant economic opportunities. According to statistics, global investment in clean energy exceeds USD 2 trillion in 2024, marking a nearly 50% increase from 2019. This surge is due to supportive policies, technological advancements, and declining costs of renewable energy technologies like solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and wind turbines. The United States, the European Union, China, India and other major economies are leading this wave, reflecting a collective commitment to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and achieving net-zero targets by mid-century. #cleanenergy #climatechangeisreal #investmentopportunities #greenenergy #greenergysolutions #greentech #greentechnology #esg #corpstage #greenhousegasemissions

☀ 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆 ☀ This special day for our mother star, the sun, has already been celebrated since 1987. In many countries it marks the beginning of the so-called Week of the Sun, which is supposed to provide information about the possibilities for energy supply through renewable energies such as solar power. On this special date, let’s highlight the importance of solar energy for green hydrogen. After all, the sun is an unlimited source of energy that we can use to shape a sustainable future. Solar energy plays a key role in producing green hydrogen. By the use of solar power, water can be split to produce green hydrogen. This in turn can serve as an environmentally friendly fuel with a wide range of applications, e.g., in mobility or industry. Celebrating the energy of the sun is also a good opportunity to remember to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and move towards a cleaner and greener future for our planet. 🌍 #hydrogenisnow #worldsunday #hydrogen #cleanenergy

𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 It's astonishing to see how Germany, despite having lower solar irradiance than many other countries, leads with the highest capacity with big difference from the following ones. What are the reasons behind this remarkable development? ✅Strong regulatory framework in the past ✅Robust incentives for renewable energy ✅High environmental awareness and public support However, we've recently seen a decrease in the intensity of support for renewable heat. This is precisely the opposite of what we need: with the rise of more efficient technologies enabling lower temperature installations (f.i. HPs), solar thermal has more potential than ever. Let's learn from past success stories to build a more sustainable future. #SolarThermal #Sustainability #SustainableFuture
