MDPI Singapore had the distinct honor of meeting with Dr. Gavin Stewart Dawe, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Dr. Dawe, who joined the Editorial Board of Pharmaceuticals MDPI in May 2024, provided invaluable insights during our discussion.
In our meeting, Dr. Dawe shared his positive experiences with MDPI, particularly praising the user-friendly Susy platform, which simplifies the review process and facilitates efficient manuscript management. He also highlighted MDPI's clear and effective email communications, suggesting that the implementation of consistent, timely reminders could further enhance workflow efficiency. This feedback underscores MDPI’s commitment to providing a seamless and accessible experience for our authors, reviewers, and editors.
We are immensely grateful for Dr. Dawe’s insightful feedback and the time he dedicated to meeting with us. His contributions align perfectly with MDPI’s vision of upholding transparency, integrity, and quality throughout the publishing process. As we continue to promote open access and accelerate the dissemination of scientific research, we look forward to many successful collaborations with Dr. Dawe and the broader academic community at NUS.
