Many local farms' CSA programs are opening up for sign-ups this month! 🥦 🍅 🥕🧄 🥬 🧅 Where are you getting your CSA this season? Spots fill up fast, so if you haven't already, it's always a good idea to register as soon as you can. Subscribing to a CSA is a great way to get consistent access to fresh, locally-grown produce. They also allow you to support local agriculture, build a relationship with your farmer, and learn about where your food comes from. Because CSA programs are paid upfront, they provide farmers with funds to cover the costs of production and allows them to plan for the season ahead. Visit the map on our website to find a CSA near you: https://lnkd.in/g5YKrqK2 If you are a farmer with a CSA program that is not yet on our map, add your farm to our listings here: https://lnkd.in/g3C5iYjk

The analysis includes a 114-page main report and a 53-page addendum with statistics focused on each of the states in the six-state midwestern region. The report was produced in collaboration with Nathan Rosenberg, FLPC Visiting Scholar, and Bryce Wilson Stucki, an independent researcher. It provides an in-depth, data-driven analysis of farm production, farmer race and ethnicity, and farm practices in the Midwest. Read: https://ow.ly/pKOE50Qy5HY
