U.S. Department of Transportation’s Post

When Secretary Pete Buttigieg took office, roadway deaths had been going in the wrong direction for years and spiked during the pandemic. In December, we announced the 10th straight quarter of roadway deaths going down-- steady progress that must continue.

I can’t wait to see new leadership. Less regulation on trucking. Less EPA regs on equipment. America moves by truck. Your fuel, groceries, pharmaceuticals, appliances, lumber, vehicles and more are transported by truck. Thank a trucker! They are running against a clock, very limited parking, and lack of restrooms, all basic needs. Goodbye Pete.
