A successful school year starts at home. So to all the parents, caregivers, and family members helping students get ready for the new school year: Thank you! #ThankYouThursday #BackToSchool #FirstDayOfSchool
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I feel the same way. More hands on instruments 🎷 Yes, they will grow up in an online world. Let’s consider getting the hands on musical instruments more so those joint don’t get keyboard ⌨️ cramps. We truly can also a consider a child’s vision also. The glare or flicker may cause eyes to function differently as the mature. Our generation started on paper 📝 The word penmanship is sinking it seems, slowly. It’s the old tie shoe laces and how to hold a crayon 🖍️ that seems to be missing. Do you this these things should be warranted to address also?
In educating a child, parents are involve. Thanks to all parents who relentless assisted their kids during the summer and also preparing them for another school year.

Parents - it starts with you, Teachers - don’t give up on the kids, find happiness in the classroom
I would love to have the opportunity to run a school’s curriculum. Those students would be hands-on with everything. What a difference we would see. Kick it old school.
And thanks to the people and their families in the Department of Education.

2moI have to say that if we want any form of success…true success….true learning…we have to lose the devices. The laptops….tablets….everything! The students are not developing skills efficiently. Teachers are seeing this and the school based support teams are seeing this as well. The students go home and they are on devices at home as well. This is affecting their overall development. We feel this is becoming somewhat of a crisis. Let’s be successful in real life and not just on posters and newsletters.
