According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) roughly four million people give birth in the United States each year. Following prevalence rates of Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), means 800,000 (20%) people out of the four million will suffer, and only around 160,000 (20%) will receive treatment.
