I (Beth White💡) have been chatting with HR, IT and C-Suite leaders for the past 6 months about their #AI strategies for the workplace. 😯 I have been shocked when I learn that strategic #AI committees are formed and HR has not been included in these conversations! It’s time to get real with y’all and light a fire…as we say in Texas! HR and People Leaders...you need this "seat at the AI table" now. Your involvement offers a very valuable lens and viewpoint within these discussions. It's time to get more educated, listen and learn, as well as share your voice on AI with your peers. HR can provide unique business case considerations, facilitate the change management processes, share ideas about how to drive adoption and usage of AI solutions, and how to mitigate any risks that may not be considered by other internal team members. With the EU AI Act in place (effective Aug. 1st) and many other legislative bills on AI in progress (at both the US state and federal level), the legal risks are real yet there is a huge opportunity to positively impact the future of workplaces for years to come. *Please read the blog I wrote to help you make your business case as to why HR needs to be part of AI Committees (or any strategy sessions on AI).
