One of the things that I have found genuinelly meaningful and inspiring from the last few years of taking the head-first leap into “So you want to start your own beverage company” is not only connecting with other like-minded Dreamer Doers, but also seeing those dreams come to life and grow.
Raising capital in early stage beverage is brutal. I could write a damn book on the learnings from going through and completing our seed round haha. But once you get past that initial stage, are still standing, have tangible product / market fit and solid growth / revenue metrics it’s all about Phase 2 growth mode.
I linked with Jeremy K. John Dalsey early on into the Nectar Hard Seltzer journey and knew within 30 mins that they came here to go the distance. I also still have their epic OG first secondsry box model that I keep Christmas ornaments in 😂.
I am STOKED to see they opened up a portion of their round to involve and further engage their community - I am now a proud investor and officially along for the ride. Game On!
I’m a personal and professional fan of the Reg CF Community Raise model. We did a portion of our seed round on Wefunder and it was organized, seamless and has paid community building dividends tenfold.
