The Justice League? Pah! The Avengers? Meh! It’s the communications teams across the planet who are the real superheroes! They must use their super-skills to be all things – experts, advisors, writers, designers, editors, strategists, creatives, ambassadors…the list is endless. And very often they’re the ones who are called on to swoop in, meet a challenge and save the day…often at very short notice! I’m a lucky man. I’ve been a member of some amazing teams in my career, and I’ve learned time and again just how crucial teamwork is. But what’s the secret of a team’s success? Sounds like a cliché, but for me it’s all about diversity. A mix of experience and fresh perspectives. Different backgrounds and cultures. A broad range of skills and talents. They’re ingredients that not only make a team stronger, but they’re great for each individual too – we can tap into our colleagues’ “super-powers” and use them to learn and grow. What’s the key factor that helps your super-team meet all odds to succeed?

Writing my first book + building a coaching business publicly + documenting all the failures along the way| Director of Development 💬| Marketing Coach👨🏽💼| Future Best-Selling Author ✍🏼| StoryBrand Certified Guide📣
Do you have the right team around you for you to reach your potential? 😤 Best man duties at my buddy’s recent wedding started off with a bang when I looked up and saw that there were a TON of groomsmen. All throughout the process it confused me. Why does Jason need so many? 😤 😤 😤 Then the day of, Seeing all of these people that played huge parts in his life as he got ready to walk down the aisle. Hearing the stories from him about how each person played an integral role in championing him from when he was a little kid all the way into recent adventures. It clicked. 😤 😤 😤 ❌If we don’t have a support system around us. —>We fail. ❌If we don’t have role players on our team that are good at supporting us at one specific need. —> Chances are we are missing someone. ❌If we don’t take care of the people around us. —> They won’t stick around. 😤 😤 😤 So what do we do if we don’t have that? ✅ Start building a team that is supportive AND action oriented. ✅ Start seeking out specific experts or role players that you can call on and lean on when certain needs arise. ✅ Never forget the people who you came up with, and take care of ‘em. Don’t forget them when you’re at the tables they helped you get to. #TeamBuilding #TeamGoals #BuildingCommunity

Sharing another snippet from Joshua Crouch's recent interview with DUDE Agency Chris Martinez Josh emphasizes the importance of truly knowing your team members beyond their tasks. At Relentless, we prioritize building authentic relationships with our team because we understand that each person brings unique experiences and perspectives to the table. Taking the time to check in, ask about their well-being, and show genuine interest can make all the difference. As Josh rightly puts it, caring about your people isn't just about being a boss; it's about being human. How do you ensure your team feels valued and supported? All my dear entrepreneurs will relate with me when I say this… Building a talented team is not easy! Back in my starting days, when I had a small team but I still needed to get new people, it was becoming very hard for me to find the right people. I thought if I spend so much of my energy in looking for the right candidate, when will I focus on actual business? But then, a lightbulb moment happened! I decided to flip the script on the traditional corporate vibe!🔄 Instead of being just another boss barking orders, I started a revolution of fun Fridays, cultural events, and an office environment that was more "Friends" than "The Office." I promoted a healthy work culture in my office and on our socials! The result? The very cool boss I was (as per my team) started reflecting on my socials as well. But I also knew how to keep the team disciplined and focused. My inbox transformed into a talent magnet! 🧲 Turns out, people appreciate a workplace where creativity and laughter are as important as deadlines. So, if you're out there struggling to find the right squad, don't just post job listings – showcase your work culture! What do you do to make your team happy?

Happy monday, family. Let's talk about something super cool—Clark Kent and Superman! 🌟 You know, Clark Kent isn't just your average guy with glasses. Nope, he's actually the famous Superman in disguise! By day, he's a mild-mannered journalist, blending into the crowd without drawing much attention. But when trouble brews, he transforms into the iconic superhero we all know and love. Now, why am I bringing up Clark Kent and Superman? Well, they're more than just characters in a comic book—they're symbols of something pretty awesome. See, Clark Kent represents the unsung heroes in our everyday lives. He's the coworker who quietly gets the job done, the friend who's always there when you need them, and the leader who leads with integrity, not ego. So here's the deal: let's stop searching for Superman and start celebrating Clark Kent! Let's give a big shoutout to the not-so-visible superheroes among us—the ones who may not wear capes, but whose contributions are just as heroic. But it's not just about recognizing these hidden heroes. It's also about changing the way we think about talent and opportunity. Instead of being dazzled by the flashy, let's focus on the potential for greatness that lies within each and every one of us. Let's invest in meaningful relationships, nurture hidden talents, and create environments where everyone has the chance to shine. Because sometimes, the most extraordinary transformations come from the most unexpected places—from the Clark Kents who have been quietly waiting for their moment to soar. So here's to celebrating the Clark Kents who walk among us, and to unlocking the superpowers that lie within each and every one of us. Together, let's write our own superhero stories and change the world, one humble act of heroism at a time. 💼🦸♂️ **Goz** #ClarkKent #Superman #UnsungSuperheroes #TheBusinessOfHealthcare #TalentAcquisition

Guys, tired of high-fives being your only form of affection? Building friendships and relationships is like leveling up in real life, way cooler than grinding XP in a video game. Here's the deal: people aren't trophies, but they can be awesome teammates. Talking to folks isn't like diffusing a bomb (although some conversations might feel that way). It's about finding common ground, whether it's your love of pizza or your shared hatred of Mondays. Listen up, dude, because people actually appreciate good conversation, even if it's not about the latest sports scores (although those are important too). Be a good teammate: help out a friend in need, celebrate their wins, and maybe even offer to be their wingman at that upcoming party (because who wants to fly solo?). Building relationships is like building a killer fort – the more effort you put in, the more epic it becomes. So ditch the lone wolf act and start building your pack!

𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗶𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱! Let's face it, not everyone at your workplace is going to be your BFF. And that's okay! Your job is not like 'Cannes Film Festival', it's a place to excel in your career and earn a living, not for drama. ✅Do your job to the best of your ability. ✅Get paid for your hard work. ✅Have a party or just walk alone or with your loved one. ✅Go home and enjoy your personal life. Don't get caught up in workplace drama or try to be friends with everyone.💯💯 And one more, avoid office politics. It can ruin your career.
