Scott Mann highlights a critical issue that deserves our attention—technology, particularly drones, has the potential to transform security landscapes, not just through misuse but through deliberate weaponization. The implications are significant, especially for large-scale public events and critical infrastructure sites, where the impact of such threats can be catastrophic. As we continue to rely on advanced technology in various aspects of life, it’s imperative that we stay vigilant and ahead of these emerging threats. This is not just about preparing for worst-case scenarios; it’s about being proactive in how we think about and counter these risks. Whether it’s enhancing security protocols, investing in counter-drone technology, or fostering public-private partnerships, the time to act is now. The conversation around this issue needs to be ongoing, as the nature of these threats evolves. We must ensure that our defenses are just as dynamic. #PublicSafety #TechThreats #EventSecurity #CriticalInfrastructure
Retired US Army Special Forces officer Lieutenant Colonel Scott Mann warns of the next potential technology that can be used against us. TRUMPERS - Why would you conflate the term WAR with COMBAT, and let's add deployment and deployed for the Marine Public Relations dude. And when you say "saw combat," what does that mean? Dropping bombs or launching missiles from a ship at sea or clearing houses one at a time. What's the technical term? DOOR KICKERS... For those questioning Governor Tim Walz's military service, here are some important points to understand: - There are three military components: Active Army (Federal), Reserve (Federal), and National Guard (State). - The National Guard, as Component 3, operates under the authority of the state governor. - It was not until 2001, that Reserve Soldiers began deploying into theater under the leadership of General Bruce Robinson and others. I know this because I was on the Team of Champions (Operations NCO) preparing Soldiers for deployment. - National Guard units are primarily activated for state emergencies by the state governor, rarely do they engage in federal service, and even more infrequently, if at all, do they deploy as a whole unit. It's essential to recognize that not every military member is a combat veteran. In the current Presidential race, only one candidate has served as a National Guard Soldier under the state's authority. Understanding the nuances of military service is crucial in assessing leadership qualities.

This is leadership, Mission and Installation Contracting Command. Contracting is not simply another job. Contracting is a mission. For all my fellow veterans out there, you know how important the mission is. Above all, we serve the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, and Guardians. There are many competing interests in the world of contracting, but one interest should always be at the forefront and guide all decision-making: the service members. Col. Adams exemplifies true leadership by putting them first. Supporting the mission and resourcing our service members is what contracting is all about. As an ol’ former Army Infantry Captain now at Camp Lejeune supporting the Marine Corps contracting mission, I am proud to see that the Army has its priorities exactly where they need to be. #contracting #governmentcontracting #leadership

This program comment ensures the Army both complies with the National Historic Preservation Act and offers military families who live in historic housing the quality of life, health, and safety they require and deserve. It also provides the flexibility necessary to enable the continued use of these historic buildings.
