Our 2024 Natural Catastrophe sigma was published today. In what was the hottest year on record, #NatCats exceeded $100bn in insured losses for the fourth consecutive year with severe convective storms making a major contribution to those losses. We expect annual insured losses to continue growing by 5-7% - much in line with increases over the last 3 decades. So far, the impact of our changing climate has been small, but we expect its contribution to grow.
