"There are 4 'P's to the 'how' of achieving our countries' shared goals and vision: Pace: We need to do things faster, pick up speed on our paths to shared goals, and find the best possible ways to do this without friction. Principles: We need to craft policies and principles strengthening the foundation of our relationship. Persistence: Things are not going to be easy, but it is important to stay persistent and keep pushing forward. Promises: We must build our future potential by delivering on our unfinished promises--and that builds deep and unwavering trust. To accelerate the pace of our work, it demands persistence, in the shadow of promises. Our shared principles can lead to prosperity in the world." - Ambassador Eric Garcetti, U.S. Ambassador to India Our #IndiaIdeasSummit explored how the U.S. and India, the world’s two largest democracies, are advancing progress in every corner of human enterprise, from the seas to the stars. USIBC President Ambassador (ret.) Atul Keshap shares his thoughts on the significance of the 49th Annual General Meeting and India Ideas Summit, taking place on September 12, 2024 in New Delhi, India. "The rise of India is the global growth story of our century. From critical technologies encompassing #AI to net-zero #energy, India is helping shape the future of the global economy. Likewise, USIBC companies are the largest job creators in the formal sectors of both economies, and are always at the forefront of the world and their respective industries in high trust technology, ethics, managerial excellence, and economic upliftment through taxes paid and social responsibility. American companies have been trusted catalyzers and partners in India’s ascent for over a hundred years, strengthening ties between the world’s two biggest #democracies. A rising tides lift all boats, and I am inspired and hopeful by what India, the United States, and our amazing USIBC companies will continue to offer humanity, particularly in this moment of profound geopolitical and geoeconomic uncertainty. I’m excited to welcome our Board and our entire membership, as well as the public and private sector leaders driving the U.S.-India relationship, to USIBC’s annual India Ideas Summit in New Delhi on September 12. Building on last year’s Summit in Washington, D.C., during the historic State Visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and at the cusp of USIBC’s Golden Jubilee and 50th anniversary in 2025, I am confident this year’s India Ideas Summit will be a resounding success," said Ambassador Keshap. This year’s theme, “Partnership and Prosperity in the Era of AI and Critical Technologies,” highlights how companies are leveraging critical technologies, including #AI, to drive innovation, sustainability, and transformative change in the evolving U.S.-India relationship. Stay tuned for more updates! #49thAGM #IndiaIdeasSummit

European partner meet, one engaging topic was the transformation of India , economically and politically, I was asked the prospects of our tallest leader on the world stage, Narendra Modi As we step in the future, he governs as a leader of coalition as against absolute majority, as a country got benefitted and use to, still one thing for sure there's palpable excitement about his continued stewardship and his unwavering commitment to steer India forward on the path of prosperity. I have witness to in last decade while interacting with colleagues from 90 countries at ECOVIS International , how their perception about India has improved as he have presented us as Nation, and back home , He is indeed a symbol of hope and progress a billion souls, In Athens my colleagues were asking about election outcomes of India, given this year over 60 nations, representing 80% of the democratic world, head to the polls—a phenomenon unprecedented in history—I shared a singular certainty: the world will witness the vibrant festivity of true democracy. What ever we are but In India, there is one steadfast principle: government by the people, for the people, and of the people. As a Nation we embrace our differences and go about democratic celebration, though pensive that our leader will be leading an alliance and not absolute majority, but I am filled with pride and optimism for India's future as a young nation with ethos of oldest civilization. # Vande Mataram! Our 19th #NuvamaIndiaConference—India2025: Now More than Ever, was an absolute delight to host, with 700 clients meeting 190 companies over 3 days, leading to over 6500 meetings. Yet again, it was the largest that we have hosted till date. We embarked on the big-picture theme of India 2025 nearly five years ago; since then, our Annual Conferences have been dedicated to capturing the various dimensions and opportunities embedded in the evolving India story. All these years, the sub-themes of our conferences have ranged from India’s Tryst With Destiny, Renaissance of India’s Businesses and The 5D Advantage to The ESG Way and New Energy—all dedicated to capturing India’s unfolding story. Over this period, India’s corporate profitability has improved substantially, leverage reduced and domestic monthly SIP flows have more than tripled to now USD2bn/month. This has manifested in India’s market cap doubling in USD terms—fastest among large global markets. In fact, India has jumped five ranks in global m-cap rankings and is now fourth largest in the world. The more we discover this story, the more it gives. With this conference, we hoped to inspire the converted and persuade the ambivalent that it is India’s time ‘Now, More Than Ever’. A big thank you to our clients and corporates for making it the success that it was!! We couldn't have done it without the efforts of this team!! #nuvamagroup; Ashish Kehair Shiv Sehgal Akash Patel Abneesh Roy Jal Irani, Kapil Gupta, Nikunj Shah, Vishal Ved Sonali K Minali Ginwala , Friyan D Bharucha , Sujay Rachh, Supriya Govekar ANJALI CHUGH , Ravish Jain, Dharmaraj Tini Bharati Ramane, Priya Shaikh, Sunayna Langeh Shrey Sagar Bhakti Shewale and our fabulous Sales, Research & Trading teams

In an engaging conversation with ET's Vinod Mahanta, John E. Drew, the Chairman of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA), shared some eye-opening insights into India's burgeoning role in the global economy. According to Drew, India is on a fast track to become the largest member of the WTCA, potentially outpacing China within the next five years. This development not only underscores India's rapid economic growth but also its increasing influence on global trade dynamics.India's evolving landscape presents a myriad of opportunities, especially in a time marked by the challenges of deglobalization and the rise of disruptive business models like WeWork. The WTCA's focus on India highlights the country's strategic importance and its promising future as a central hub for international trade. As professionals, understanding these shifts and the potential they hold for our industry and the global economy at large is crucial. The rise of India as a formidable force in the World Trade Centers Association is a testament to the country's resilience, innovation, and relentless pursuit of growth. Today, I had the honor of interacting with the Honorable External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, at an event organized by the "Yeh Bharat Ka Time Hai" team at Bharat Diamond Bourse, BKC Mumbai. Dr. Jaishankar delivered an inspiring speech on the theme "Yeh Bharat Ka Time Hai" (This is the time of Bharat), highlighting India’s growing global influence and leadership. He shared insights from his extensive experience, discussing how various international stakeholders now recognize that this is indeed the time for Bharat. Dr. Jaishankar emphasized the world's increasing confidence in India and its people, stating that the future of the globe is intrinsically linked with India’s leadership. Dr. Jaishankar also spoke about India's crucial role in mediating peace in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the potential of the semiconductor industry in India, and the global optimism surrounding India's advancements. He highlighted India's growing importance as a safe haven for data privacy and the pivotal role of supply chain diversification and crisis management in today’s world. One key takeaway was when he mentioned how the world is now actively engaging with India as a significant player on the global stage. He also praised India's role in assisting neighboring countries, like Sri Lanka, during times of crisis. During my interaction with Dr. Jaishankar, I coined the term "Jaishankar Effect" to describe his significant impact in showcasing India's assertiveness on the world stage. I asked him how we can spread this confidence among the masses in India. His profound reply was that leaders draw energy from the masses, and the masses, in turn, draw energy from their leaders. He lauded our Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that under his leadership, the people of India are now truly believing that "Yeh Bharat Ka Time Hai". Dr. Jaishankar's approach as Foreign Minister is a masterclass in brand management. He has successfully built "Brand Bharat" on the global stage, ensuring that India is seen as a key player in international affairs. Simultaneously, he has cultivated his personal brand, embodying the nation's aspirations and strengths. Dr. Jaishankar’s insights and leadership continue to inspire us all, reinforcing the idea that India’s time on the global stage has truly arrived. #India #GlobalLeadership #JaishankarEffect #YehBharatKaTimeHai #Diplomacy #Leadership #BrandBharat #BrandManagement Thankyou so much Jayvardhan Joshi for this opportunity.
