Trade shows can feel overwhelming, right? I recently attended SIAL Paris and check out this video! Imagine navigating through 7,500 exhibitors, 285,000 visitors, spanning 130 countries across 8 endless halls—all in just five days. It's overwhelming for both visitors and exhibitors. But here's how to prepare: 1️⃣ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵: Dive into the exhibitor list. Reach out to potential prospects in advance. 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗽: If they’re high on your list and you’re exhibiting, offer them a free ticket. It’s a game-changer. 2️⃣ 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲: Promote your attendance across all social media and email channels multiple times before the event. 3️⃣ 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻: Study the map and prioritize. Focus on the key categories and pavilions you need. 4️⃣ 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲: Carry a stack of business cards, but prioritize genuine interactions over sales pitches.
