🌟 Gus Schumacher's Epic Win: Miracle on Snow🌟 What a weekend for U.S. Cross Country Skiing! Minneapolis hosted the first World Cup races on U.S. soil in 35 years, and it was epic. The best skiers from around the globe hit the trails, and over 30,000 fans came out to cheer. Our hometown hero, Jessie Diggins has been killing it for the U.S. Women's team and inspiring young female skiers, but the men’s team was still looking for that big moment. Enter 23 year old Gus Schumacher, who just crushed the men's 10-kilometer freestyle and became the first American male to win a World Cup distance race since '83. As Gus processed his victory, he shared this, “Trust yourself, Be patient. Take the time and love the sport . . . A LOT of us can do this . . . maybe that’s what this means.” This win is huge. It's like a giant shout-out to the world that American men can rock the skiing world. Seeing Gus take the top spot, right here at home, with thousands going wild, is just the kind of inspiration that young skiers and executive leaders need. With grit, guts and great team, those big dreams aren't out of reach. Go Big and Create Your Miracle! #GusSchumacher #USSS #DreamBig #TeamUSA #ExecutiveCoach

Translating passion for 🚴♂️ with Cyclinguists® German to English with 20+ Years Experience 🚵♂️ Dedicated Cycling Enthusiast 📈 Elevating Your Sales Copy from Back of the Pack to the Podium
As the Tour de France 🇫🇷🚴 draws to a close this year, it's been a race full of unforgettable moments. Some highlights for me include: 🥇 Romain Bardet winning stage 1 and donning this year’s first yellow jersey 🚴♂️ Mark Cavendish achieving his record-breaking 35th stage win 😢 Victor Campenaerts’ emotional stage winner’s interview 🔥 Jonas Vingegaard outsprinting Tadej Pogačar 🌟 Remco Evenepoel proving his worth as a strong contender However, there’s one story that deserves more attention is that of Uno-X Mobility rider Jonas Abrahamsen. In a weight-obsessed sport, Abrahamsen took an unconventional path. Once weighing just 60kg, he struggled to perform at his best. However, upon securing a two-year contract with Uno-X, he embarked on a plan to gain weight gradually, reaching around 80kg. The remarkable fact about this transformation is that it allowed him to increase his peak power from 900 watts to 1,500 watts, making him a more versatile and powerful rider. His improved performance led to leading the Tour de Pologne for two days and achieving a career-best bronze in the Norwegian road race championships. And while all of this could be deemed old news, it’s only thanks to Abrahamsen constant presence at the front of the peloton during the first week of the tour, not looking like a super featherweight that most spectators believe the wearer of polka dot jersey should be. So what does this mean for the rest of us? Hopefully it's finally time to dispel the myth that you can only eat brown rice, grilled chicken and broccoli in measured amounts - and enjoy that mid-ride slice of cake knowing you’re not doing any serious harm to your power. “𝙄’𝙫𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙈𝙮 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚” 🇬🇧🙏 Huge congratulations to Jacob H who will represent Great Britain at the Modern Pentathlon U17 World Championships in Portugal next week! 🤩 Jacob’s journey into Pentathlon began by chance alongside his older brother Blake, sparked by their shared passion for horseback riding. The brothers last competed together in the summer of 2022 at the World and European Laser-Run Championships before Blake left Strathallan to start his studies at the University of Edinburgh. “Competing at the Worlds is something my brother Blake and I always aimed for,” Jacob said. “Now that I have the chance to compete, it’s truly amazing.” Despite setbacks due to injuries, Jacob has been on a winning streak recently, securing victory at the Royal Windsor Horse Show Tetrathlon for Team Scotland in 2023 and finishing just outside the top 20 at the European U17 Pentathlon Championships in Ankara this July. Reflecting on his experience, Jacob added, “Turkey was my first international competition, and I gained a lot from it. I just missed out on reaching the final, so competing at Worlds will be the biggest event of my life.” Strathallan’s Headmaster, Mark Lauder, praised Jacob’s efforts: “Jacob’s determination and perseverance have paid off. He has worked relentlessly to reach this level while continuing his studies at school. Competing at the World Championships is a huge achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder. He’s shown what it means to never give up, and we’re all rooting for him.” #GameChanger #ProudSchool #StrathFamily #WorldChamps Pentathlon GB - UIPM - World Pentathlon https://lnkd.in/ePSTSDYp

Consistency compounds. In 2003, the British Cycling Team hired Dave Brailsford as performance director. Before adopting the 1% better methodology, they had: • one Olympic gold medal in 100 years • zero Tour de France wins in 110 years. After implementing the methodology: • 2008 Olympics: 60% of gold medals • 2012: Bradley Wiggins wins Tour de France • 2012 Olympics: Nine Olympic and seven World Records • 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017: Chris Froome wins Tour de France From 2007 to 2017, British cyclists secured: • 178 world championships • 66 Olympic/Paralympic gold medals • five Tour de France victories. Here's a breakdown of what went down: 1. **Swimming:** Speed was critical right from the start. Hauser's vigorous pace in the swim set a challenging tone for his competitors. 2. **Cycling:** His determined efforts on the bike were pivotal. By swiftly covering any gaps, he maintained a lead, showcasing the importance of tenacity in this segment. 3. **Running:** It was during the run that Hauser's calm and calculated approach truly shone. His ability to manage his energy and pace ensured he kept the lead. 🤔 Reflecting on my own triathlon experiences, maintaining such consistency across all three segments is daunting but crucial for success. Endorsing products, particularly when you have a vested interest, can often be received by consumers as "heavily weighted." However, when the proof is clearly evident in performance, then it transcends mere endorsement to become a testament to genuine impact. For ambitious multi-sport athletes, speed and efficiency are non-negotiable. Carbon Mafia wheels stand out by offering unparalleled aerodynamics and lightweight construction, ensuring every pedal stroke translates into maximum forward thrust. With these wheels, you're not just investing in equipment; you're investing in those crucial seconds that could mean the difference between a podium finish and the rest of the pack. Seeing the measurable improvement in my own performance, I can confidently say that Carbon Mafia wheels are not just a choice but a competitive advantage. #m5triathlon #CarbonMafia
We have been working with Philip Stoneman and his M5 Triathlon squad for just over 2 years, with many of their elite level age group athletes achieving great results on various combinations of our wheels. Phil qualified to race at Kona for the second time on our wheels at Ironman Australia. While that is a great result he previously won his age group at Ironman 70.3 Geelong earlier this year. Fast forward to this past weekends Ironman 70.3 in Cairns were he raced on our new Triad wheel set for the first time in preparation for Kona. Phil finished the race as the new number 1 athlete in the world for the 60-64 age group in Ironman’s All World Athlete rankings. We are looking forward to seeing Phil take on the world on our wheels on the big island!
