Kicking off 2024 with an exciting venture – developing my thesis to earn the master's degree diploma in electrical engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid! I'm particularly interested in "Grid-Following and Grid-Forming Control Schemes in Power Electronic-Based Power Systems" as my thesis subject. With the increasing penetration of power electronic converters alongside decarbonization, power systems have transitioned into power electronic-based systems. In this scenario, the stability of the power system encounters significant challenges. During large disturbances, the power grid may struggle to maintain stable voltage and frequency. To enhance grid stability, the traditional grid-following (GFL) control needs to transition to grid-forming (GFM) control. Seeking insights from my brilliant network! 🌐💡 How would you approach this subject? Any study case ideas to explore the shift from traditional grid-following to grid-forming control? Let's collaborate for a deep dive into the future of power systems! ⚡🔍 #ThesisDevelopment #ElectricalEngineering #ResearchIdeas #PowerSystems #CollaborationOpportunity
