Edenred has just posted total revenue of €1.395 million for the first half of 2024, up 18.5%. This excellent performance reflects the success of our ‘Beyond Fuel’ strategy. This robust growth reflects the ongoing success of the energy cards for companies of all sizes as well as the Beyond Fuel strategy, underpinned by the attractiveness of maintenance, toll and financial services solutions for fleet managers. The roll out of the Beyond Fuel strategy is also experiencing growing success in Mexico and Europe, particularly in Germany, where toll solutions are benefiting from new regulations incorporating a tax based on CO2 emissions in the calculation of toll tariffs. The first half of 2024, was marked by the signing and closing of the acquisition of Spirii, a European SaaS platform for electric vehicle charging, whose offering has already been rolled out in France and Germany. Edenred is taking advantage of its interconnected platform to extend its range of electric vehicle solutions, such as the partnership with Audi Deutschland in Germany to equip parking areas with electric vehicle charging. "Your everyday can pay for your holiday". This image is from a recent TV commercial by IAG Loyalty. It reflects a lot of hard work by the airline group, in recent years, to enable Avios members to earn points with their everday spending. That's particularly true in the UK, and there's still great potential in markets such as Spain and Ireland. The campaign should be quite successful because the ability to earn points through everyday spending is exactly what most customers (i.e., non-frequent business travellers) need in order to make engagement with a travel program worthwhile. When advertising resonates as true, it works. When advertising is not aligned with the operating parts of the business, consumers smell a rat quite quickly - and in recent years, we have seen other large #loyaltyprograms promote campaigns and benefits that are not aligned with the mission of their core business. To see the 'loyalty brand' of an airline group investing in above-the-line advertising, and to see this choice of tagline for a campaign, is a great sign of way the #loyalty industry is maturing, and of growing recognition of the core tenets for value for the majority of customers.

UTA Edenred, we greatly appreciate the intention behind the new legislation, Royal Decree-Law 8/2023 of December 27 in Spain. On the other hand, the wording of the law is not fully clear, and we were unsure how exactly to interpret the newly proposed change. For that reason, I met in person with Joan Pau Ineva Goya and a few of our partners and discussed openly the possible impact of the new law on our future cooperation. Thanks, Angel Luis Jimeno Zaragoza and CEPSA, for the discussion and allocation of big portion of your time to us. We hope that the situation will clarify soon and we can focus on building wider and deeper cooperation. We also appreciate the initiative of Fleet Cards Europe to clarify the business model of independent fleet card issuers with state authorities. BTW - do you agree that card issuers are #thehiddenchampions in the European mobility sector?
