BREAKING NEWS: Vivint Solar and Vivint Smart Home Founder, Todd Pedersen, has Apparently Acquired Controlling Interest in Utah-based Deploy Surveillance. This Development Potentially Puts Deploy and Pedersen on a Collision Course with Utah-based LVT (LiveView Technologies). To be honest I almost blew past yesterday's news release from Deploy Surveillance as it contained nothing about the money-side of the equation about Pedersen being announced as the Owner of the company. I find these clear long term development plans like this or ARC’s Attachie or Tourmaline’s Conroy North excellent in illustrating the Montney’s running room. I really like how Paramount lays out its development blocks with peak production and how long they will sustain free cash flow. Good way to layout your long term strategy.

Here is an interesting visualization from Visual Capitalist depicting total energy costs by state. I'm not thrilled to see Minnesota is the fifth most energy-expensive state, but I'm not surprised either. However, check out Wyoming. It has the highest energy costs, with residents' energy bills at an astonishing $1,591 per month. I did some quick math, and Wyoming is more than twice the average ($620) and is four times higher than the lowest state, New Mexico ($376).
