UTC's first autonomous vehicle coming through! 🚗 💨 Technically a research and development (R&D) autonomous vehicle platform, this cool ride from Hexagon | AutonomouStuff will cruise the MLK Smart Corridor, gathering real-time data on the downtown traffic. The data from this high-tech vehicle will help make our local streets smoother, safer and more environmentally friendly. Dr. Mina Sartipi, the Founding Director of the UTC Center for Urban Informatics and Progress (CUIP), sees this as unlocking a new era of understanding our city's rhythm. The MLK Smart Corridor is a collaboration between UTC, the City of Chattanooga, EPB and other local community partners.
