When I used to run Coworking Bansko, I was often asked "What is a coworking space?" Explaining it was always a challenge - because coworking is truly an experience that has to be felt. It's those spontaneous connections and "coworking moments" that make it special. It is about the energising buzz as entrepreneurs from different backgrounds bounce ideas off each other. Trying to put that indescribable magic into words is a lot like explaining Bansko Nomad Fest. It's an event that brings the remote working community together, but it's so much more than that. It's an environment that sparks creativity, cultivates growth, and fosters lasting relationships. You really have to experience it to understand that intangible energy: “It was a live changing event” is what I hear people say. A feeling of being part of something bigger than yourself. This can be total game-changer for YOU! https://lnkd.in/gBPACR75 Have a look at this video for a glimpse into the kind of potent, catalysing experience I'm talking about. And let me tell you more about why you should come and join the Bansko Nomad Fest - grab a 10% discount and use “uwebnf24” at the checkout https://lnkd.in/db2TcCXD

Do you know the coolest part of working at a coworking space like O4 Coworking? For me, it’s meeting interesting people and developing genuine relationships. Some examples from just this past week: ☕ the coffee I’m drinking today is a single-origin, organic coffee from Dodola Coffee (for all you coffee aficionados it's Papua New Guinea Organic Korofeigu). I got it from Boris Šešlija who roasts premium coffee in Gdańsk. You can taste his passion in every sip of the brew! 🤝 I discussed building communities (yes, I love communities) with Paul Kawiecki (it seems we already have a name 🤫) and Piotr Suwała. It takes just two open-minded people to start something valuable 🪙 🎤 with Maciej Majewski from Pitch Me Baby® ⚡ we agreed to organise Pitch Me Baby Trójmiasto vol. 2 in O4 Coworking. When goals and attitudes align, it takes 2 calls and less than 10 emails to put together a pitching event. 🎢 Radu just had to ride the elevator down a few floors from the TELUS International office in Olivia Centre Four so we could sit down and discuss how the Gdansk Startup Network is growing and what cool things they do with a growing group of entrepreneurs who are not originally from Poland. 👋 I bumped into Paulina Tranda, an expert in lean methodologies at EBMASTERS - employer branding community Trójmiasto. We worked together in two places, so it was cool to catch up. And we already might have an idea that links to the community I discussed with Paweł ;) And that’s just this past week. This is not to say I know a lot of people. When you are willing to engage, give your attention, and listen, you create a base for developing real relationships. Focus on the other person and who they are rather than how you might benefit from the relationship. You might say, “OK, you had many meetings. But what about work? What about outcomes?”. I know my priorities. My goal is to let as many people experience what O4 Coworking is like and what opportunities it enables. By meeting people, introducing them to one another, and truly engaging in one conversation at a time at a place that's built for fostering connections, I do just that. Remember - it’s not about the number of your LinkedIn connections. It’s about the experience of meeting people and hearing them. Oh, and good coffee helps ;)

Very annoyingly, you always need to do more marketing than you think you need to do. (See our video with Matthias Zeitler from Coliving Semkovo recorded DINAMO10 here: https://lnkd.in/diMy3w6U) A perfect example is last May when we did European Coworking Day at the London Coworking Assembly; we had 25 spaces take part. (Our goal for 2025 is 100 out of the 13600+ spaces in London) We are talking about European Coworking Day very early this time in the European Coworking Assembly, London Coworking Assembly and European Rural Coworking Project. So I'm recording this video in November 2024, and we're all talking about European Coworking Day, the 14th of May 2025. And we need that time to get in people's heads schedules. - By January 2025, people will start paying attention to how we want them to. - Then, people will take action in March or April. - And there'll be a mad rush, as with every event, just before the whole thing at the beginning of May. But whatever you are selling or promoting, it helps when you get into people's schedules, heads, Instagram feeds and stuff like that before you need to. And you always need to do more marketing than you think. One More Thing Coworking brings communities together, helping people find and share their voices. Each episode of the Coworking Values Podcast explores the core values driving coworking: Accessibility, Community, Openness, Collaboration, and Sustainability. These values aren’t just ideas—they shape the spaces where we gather, work, and grow. You can help others discover how coworking enriches lives, builds careers, and strengthens communities. Community is the key 🔑 #coworking #communityisthekey #coworkinglondon

Embrace the Evolution of Coworking Coworking has been on a wild ride for the last 10-15 years, transforming from a DIY movement into a global industry. Covid supercharged things by proving the remote model, sending people into loneliness and isolation and reminding us that we need each other. Turns out, those micro-connections that happen throughout a day make us who we are. The loose ties of an engaged community is a powerful thing. That's where coworking shines—always has and always will. So, yes, coworking has evolved. Embrace it! Go with it! Find the place within it that you can share your superpower, serve your community and work within your zone of genius. Your people are waiting. 🙌
