This ad makes me emotional EVERY.SINGLE.TIME… It makes me feel so happy thinking of all the kids (and not so kids anymore) that will (finally) feel seen. It makes me feel so hopeful about the curiosity of those who don’t understand yet why the girl’s grandparents do what they do. And it was about time that we start normalising. Representation is like having a big box of crayons with all the colors. If we only use one color, our drawings wouldn’t feel complete or exciting. But when we use all the colors in a meaningful way, we can create something so detailed and amazing that shows the full picture of the world. When we see people like us in books, movies, tv commercials or jobs, it’s like seeing our favorite crayon being used in the drawing. It makes us feel we belong and simply transforms our dreams into opportunities, real possibilities. But if only certain crayons are used, some people might feel left out or think they’re not important. That’s why representation is so human: it makes sure everyone’s color is part of the picture, and that helps the world be fairer, kinder, and more beautiful. Happy days ahead to everyone ♥️
