Day 19 - Figma Tip like few other days in our design journey, today is also for picking up a Figma tip. We were introduced to the tip with a quote by Bill Gate that I find really weird 😂 it says "I choose a lazy person to do a hard job, because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it" You see? lol. Today's tip basically is "The lazy way to prototype" which is basically introducing component earlier in designs especially for element that will be used in several other cases. To be honest, I don't even think its a lazy way, I think its a more efficient way cos it is a technique that promotes consistency, efficiency, maintenance, and collaboration. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗮𝘂𝗹𝘁" 𝗼𝗻𝗲 ↳ Put the most used component variant as the first one to speed up using this component. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 2 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 ↳ It's faster to click a toggle than to manually open a dropdown and choose a value.
