We LOVE victorian properties. Which is lucky because we invest in an area of mostly victorian properties. The things we love: ⭐️ Ornateness of design - Everything had flair (cornicing, brickwork etc) ⭐️ Scale - High ceilings, large rooms gave a sense of space ⭐️ Quality - High quality materials for the time and trades who really knew their craft ⭐️ Longevity - They are structurally sound and serve just as much purpose today as they did in their own time But below are some of our other favourites. Showing the essential design elements. This is the main courtyard for the Randee Rogers apartment building. I wanted to have sun lighting up the seating area and the tall glass face of the building. I like this shot too because, even with this tight view, you see the glass, the bricks, the different types and shapes of windows, the different colors of the building sections, the balconies, and the landscaping. It tells the story of this huge building, even though we're only showing a small section, by including many of the essential design elements.
