Quantity experince makes no sense in SAP world. People simply write a number on their CVs, a major chunk of it, fake infact. It's not the configuration, testing, moving TRs, and uploading data, that's called consulting. A 10th fail can do this. What truly matters is the existence of below traits, skills and capabilities 1. Business operations 2. Processing understanding (E2E) 3. Specific business problems handling and issue resolving 4. Value addition through SAP mapping, that can drive a business result to save time and cost 5. Knowledge on business process re-engineering 6. Ability to see macro effect of any system change on the overall business goals 7. Ability to challenge the business in their court 8. Ability to manage stakeholders 9. Ability to bring in creativity into consulting 10. Ability to efficiently address specific business issues and bring them to logical conclusion 11. Ability to create a 360 deg view and impact of SAP mapping 12. Ability to see risks and failure and proactively prepare to mitigate and avoid the same 13. Identify potential areas of specific improvement 14. Abikity to eliminate redundancies, both in business process and SAP settings 15. Ability to brainstorm multiple, parallel and alternate solutions 16. Ability to read, analyse and interpret business data, to enable seamless flow of information that produce meaningful reports 17. Ability to suggest backup solutions, in case of breakdown of any current solution 18. Possess required bandwidth to enhance discussions, and drive open / two way communication channels 19.Skills to motivate the team and drive results through them 20. Skills to be task oriented, yet people centric 21. Ability to be an imperfectionist, yet achieve desired results 22. Be a huge believer of wonderful and interesting results 23. Be a risk taker, a backup planner, result oriented, curious and humbe 24. Be a person of high confidence, yet stay practical 25. Be an individual with a good smile on the face, but with total focus on the goal None of the above needs to be perfect or complete. Even small glimpses of each of them would be a great fit.
