It's been a busy start to the week for our Jean Serra and Matt Miller, who traveled to San Francisco for the 2024 Rock Health Summit. Some of healthcare's most innovative minds came together to discuss hot-button issues in the industry—from GLP-1s and the youth mental health crisis, to support for caregivers and the "food as medicine" movement—all with a focus on how health tech solutions can be most impactful. Keep an eye on the V2 blog this week for a rundown of key takeaways from the event! 👀 #RHSummit24

Today, on World Health Day 2024, we're reminded that health is a fundamental human right. This year's theme, "My health, my right," emphasises the importance of access to quality healthcare services for all individuals, regardless of where they live, how much money they earn and their health condition. As we reflect on this theme, let's remember the millions of people around the world living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) - diagnosed and undiagnosed - it took me 20 years to get a diagnosis despite seeking help from numerous health care professionals. OCD is not just about excessive handwashing or organising; it's a complex mental health condition that can significantly impact an individual's daily life. In my own personal experience, it was like living in a nightmare where I spent hours a day obsessing and performing compulsions in order to prevent making or ensuring I hadn't made a mistake which could take everything important to me away in an instant - despite how irrational it could have been. On this day, let's reaffirm our commitment to supporting those affected by OCD, advocating for their rights to access proper diagnosis, treatment, and support services. Together, let's ensure that everyone has the right to mental and physical healthcare. #WorldHealthDay #MyHealthMyRight #OCDAwarenesssaveslives
