ARP is amazing and understanding where that frame is going will help you understand what’s really going on .. when your device is communicating locally or externally We say we understand LAN but do we really ,. To really appreciate local area networks is to understand broadcast messages . One of the reasons why vlans are implemented for security and to limit congestion. Devices does what you tell it do .
