1moI'm part of the bidding team. Funny thing is I was directly told several years ago that I had no idea what Vails vision was, what the Park City Mountain Resort was all about, or it's history. This was funny to me because I have skied at Park City, and Park West, every year since 1967. I have family in Park City and a heritage that goes back into the 1800's. I know Park City. I have been in the mines of Park City. I remember staying at the first hotel, when the Gondola was put in, freezing on the Park West lift that was on the ridge, training as part of the ski team, and on it goes. But I was the one who didn't understand Park City Ski Resort and Park West, now the Park City Mountain Resort and Canyons. Isn't it ironic that I had a hand in bringing the Olymics back to Utah and Park City and yet I'm the one who doesn't understand. Sometimes I find the younger generation is clueless to what those of the older generation have experienced. What's in a history book for them was real life for many of us, now dismissed because we apparently don't understand. Sorry for the rant. Just frustrated.
