I notice the black coal dust all over town in Middelburg and then I ask myself the question, so what is the ESG strategy of the relevant mining companies. Is ESG about reporting on what you think you must do, what you wish to do, or is it a report that showcase what you did, to exceed your ESG goals and backed by actual work done. So if you have no ESG strategy, what then?

Where Innovation plays a fundamental role in the pursuit of achieving compliance to the ESG principles!
Over 30 years ago, BME, a Member of the Omnia Group introduced dual-salt cold emulsion products in the South African mining industry. Fast-forward to today, and the #ESG advantages that these products offer relative to single-salt variants have become even more important, including improved energy efficiency, lower nitrate contamination and GHG emissions. What makes dual-salt emulsions even more impactful is that performance isn’t compromised for sustainability. Mining companies now have a comprehensive solution to improve safety and reduce environmental impact while increasing operational efficiency.
