One of the reasons I chose the name "Löwenzahn" / Loewenzahn (Dandelion in English) is due to the plant's resiliency. They have the ability to grow in impossible situations and have a relentless nature. They often symbolize the strength to overcome challenges, adversary or hardships. I aspire to do this as well. One highlight from today's The Running Event Trade Show in Austin: Johnny Earle, founder of "Johnny Cupcakes". I'll be honest: I hadn't heard of them. They sell really, really cool tees. But that's not their special sauce. They're a "Surprise & Delight" brand that happens to sell tee shirts. Johnny shared these motivating bytes: "Being an entrepreneur is an addiction to a very strange kind of pain." "The more you put in, the more you get back" "Do more of what makes you happy" "Create stories that people want to share with others" (This is how you become a great marketing company with lean resources) "Grow your reach and resources through collaborations and creativity" "In EVERY workplace, CREATIVITY must be applied" "People (a.k.a. customers) thrive off of new experiences" "Don't just check boxes - be the one who creates NEW boxes to check" And my personal favorite: "Make friends with people who have weathered similar storms."

I felt alive again! 🙏 Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the #Whalies DTC conference in New York - an event I'm calling the "greatest Kiddush on earth!" 🥖 As a "connector", schmoozer, relationship-driven person, I was truly in my element. Throughout the day-long event for e-commerce brands and industry leaders, I was able to do what I love most - bringing together people I know and trust to help them unlock even greater possibilities. As someone facing new beginnings again -- the #Bounce expertise in full display 😉 -- it was the first time in a long while that I truly felt like myself again. For my journey, I chose to rent a car instead of the standard train + hotel. Why? It gave me the freedom to make spontaneous stops - grabbing coffee in Philadelphia, playing ping pong in Jackson, and enjoying falafel on the Upper West Side. These little "mini-moments" of genuine connection and community are what fill my cup. Day of the event I learned, I schmoozed, I connected. When 1+1=5, then making sure clients, friends, and others connect will absolutely further their own goals. The best part of the day? The Whalies team ensured the food was not only delicious, but kosher - a rarity at industry events. 🍔 (thanks Moe Mernick & Maxx Blank) When we actually spend quality time with people face-to-face (rather than just over Zoom or email), something magical happens. We get to see facial expressions, share personal stories, and share a few laughs. These authentic interactions are the bedrock of lasting, trust-based relationships. The real long-term win in all this "connecting" is that the more people you know and trust - and who trust you in return - the more you can recognize patterns and moments to bring them together for even greater things. 💫 So, if there's one key takeaway, it's this: seek out those special "mini-moments" to truly be yourself and nurture your most important relationships.
