📥 3 days ago I put up a hiring post, and in turn received over 300 resumes in my inbox over the next 72 hours. Here's 3 reasons why some of those resumes won't receive a response from me! 1. They simply attached the resume, with no introduction, or brief on which job they were applying for! 2. They spelt my name wrong. This one is important, it shows lack of attention to detail, and little to no time & thought spent in sending in their resume. 3. They have multiple typos in their brief/cover letter + your resume isn't updated. This one shows carelessness. If you notice, all these points have one thing in common that can put a recruiter/founder off entirely: You come off as someone who doesn't really care about their business, and it leads us to believe you wouldn't care as much about the interview process, let alone the job. Spend an extra 5 minutes on your first email, a good one can leave a great first impression, and even land you the job!

It’s all about using the right amount of detail, avoiding fluff, and nailing the layout. Make sure it’s easy for recruiters to find crucial info, and make sure YOU shine!

Why Top firms are not responding to my CV ?? Have you ever gone through such phase !! It can be annoying when top organizations don't respond to your resume. Moreover, a lot of folks go through this at one point in their lives. There could be various reasons, such as high competition, specific skill requirements, or your CV may need some adjustments to better align with the roles you're applying for, or lack of vacancies. So if you want to be a part of your aimed organization, you desperately need to be follow the firm, their recruitment process, vacancies and make sure to make connections with the people of respective firms.
