I’ve been trying to stay in Italy 🇮🇹 ✔️adjusted the teams in the South Europe 8 branches to the operational and results needs and an organizational strategy based on people, value offer, performance and perception ✔️brought the company back on the growth trend being a top region in the UE ✔️solved internal disputes avoiding toxic environments ✔️we survived the covid without disruption and we even did some social responsability activities with Portugal 🇵🇹, Spain 🇪🇸 and Italy 🇮🇹 food banks, hospital in Spain 🇪🇸/ Madrid and the civil protection in Italy 🇮🇹 ✔️we’ve became more digital on meetings, trainings, presentations, a real technical support back office and e-commerce ✔️we’ve created a solid BDM structure to work with all the industry chain value ✔️we gave the next step on the distribution agreements avoiding stagnation and providing more chances to the ones that were interested in growth ✔️made the teams grow and created potential leaders for the future ✔️recognised as a leader with a sharp view about strategy, problem solver, fast learner, an example and mentor for employees and all stakeholders But, since I’m not able to override the existing barriers in Italy, I need to go where I’m valued and recognised no matter what my nationality is… Probably soon it will be a goodbye to Italy, a country that I love, learned the language but unfortunately still submerged in so many barriers and bureaucracy… Fortunately in the world 🌍 there are places, companies and industries asking me to take a chance with them recognising that I can add value… I’m going to check out those opportunities with real face to face meetings (as I like it) cause life goes on, I’m always positive and not attached to comfort zones 🥂 #Opportunities, #Jobs, #Recruiters, #Management, #Industry, #Motivation, #Initiative, #Value, #Positiveness, #Skills, #Experience

Milestone! This has been my first year working in German! 🖤❤️💛 Despite being German, I mainly worked in English in my 15+ years of career. Also, a bit in French during my two years in Belgium and even a bit in Dutch - probably my presentations were a bit funny... And now, I have the first job which is partly in English and partly in German: I am Fractional CMO at European Loc Pool, based in Zurich, Switzerland. Business discussions, external communication, customer discussions and chat with colleagues - much of this is now in German. I have to say: it was quite a challenge to speak my mother tongue professionally! A bit switch in my head! And yes, I make mistakes. But the most important is: I learn and I grow. 10 days,9 flights. I am approaching another business trip in apac region. There I have a great team waiting for my contribution to BOOST APAC pillar of our commercial strategy. Will it be stressful? I guess yes. Will I miss home? For sure. Will it be full of interesting meetings? Yes! If you believe in a strategy you have always to do your part in that story. I do think travelling is a fundamental part of my job. If you don't see and touch the reality it's impossible to fully understand the needs of a such complicated market like APAC is. Let's move out of the office. Don't spend too much time on teams meetings Those are my advice for today! See you there guys!
