Safety³: CITEL presents the world's first PV combined SPDs with T3 protection! In 2023, CITEL introduced CTC Technology, a completely new disconnection technology for PV-SPDs. Thanks to its special design, the CTC technology enables more compact PV SPDs, whose disconnection device disconnects faster and responds even more sensitively than previous disconnection mechanisms. Tests of the DPVN-SPDs in accordance with IEC 61643-01 have now shown that, thanks to CTC technology, the DPVN-SPDs not only meet the requirements of protection types T1 and T2, but also fulfil the special criteria of protection type T3. A corresponding certification is being issued by DEKRA. This makes DPVN devices from CITEL the world's first certified combined SPDs for protecting PV systems. DPVN-SPDs thus offer maximum surge protection for PV systems - Safey³. The new DPVN series will be on display for the first time at Intersolar 2024, which takes place from 19 to 21 June in Munich.
