Reflecting on 9/11: A Day That Changed the World Today, we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, a day that forever altered the course of history. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost, and with them, countless families were changed forever. In the face of unspeakable loss, we also witnessed incredible acts of heroism—from first responders who ran toward danger to ordinary people who stepped up to help however they could. The impact of 9/11 rippled far beyond that single day. It reshaped our world—our security, our politics, our communities. It ignited wars that spanned decades, leaving lasting scars for both soldiers and civilians. Many are still living with the effects of that day, carrying the weight of loss and sacrifice. Free all the 5.000.130 hostages! Everyone is suffering! We need non-violent interaction as equals. There is no peaceful future based on the narrative of the radicals from both sides..... Everyone who wants to claim the territory exclusively for themselves will only find war, violence and destruction, whereas the moderates at both sides hold the key to peace by non-violent interaction and dialog as equals with each other. Only this will bring mutual understanding and empathy; meaning that solely this path leads to replacing fear and hatred by trust and solidarity, and to prosperity for all by solving the conflict forever. The radicals will become speechless. www.pax.ngo & www.convergence.ngo & www.canaan.community
Alana Z. is an amazing human. Six of her cousins were brutally kidnapped by Hamas, half of them were children under the age of six. And her reasoning is something we always lack, in every conflict. War is the enemy, not its victims. ⬇️

Today, we honor the memory of those lost in the tragedy of 9/11. This day serves as a reminder of the deep sorrow and suffering that violence and hatred can inflict. Yet, as we commemorate, we must also confront the uncomfortable truth that as a global community, we often remain silent in the face of ongoing atrocities. We cannot claim to honor the victims of past horrors while turning a blind eye to the genocides and war crimes occurring in our world today. As humans, we have the power to choose which side of history we want to stand on — whether we contribute to the perpetuation of violence through inaction, or work toward peace and justice. Let us truly honor the victims of 9/11 by doing our utmost to stand against injustice wherever it may occur, for silence is complicity, and action is the path to change. #LetUsBeHumans #September11 #WorldPeace
