Congratulations to MHS M.A. alumn Finn Shelp-Peck for publishing their article!
I am thrilled to announce that my article, "The Necessity of Including Gender-Affirming Care in Student Health Insurance Plans," was published in the Journal of American College Health. This would not have been possible without Salam Kassis, MD, and Patrick Assi, MD, who made this manuscript come to life. Thank you to the Department of Medicine, Health, and Society at Vanderbilt for encouraging me to turn this paper into a manuscript for publication. The article is now available in the publications section of my profile. doi: https://lnkd.in/ec29mCdR

ATTENTION MHS MA ALUMNI! Please complete the MHS MA alumni survey! You may win an MHS MA t-shirt! (If you completed the survey in the past year, thank you! And you don't need to do it again unless something has changed in your employment or education.) Please complete the following survey (https://lnkd.in/em5j6998) about what you are currently doing, your time in the MA program and how it relates to your current position. We will use responses in a number of ways, including: to create short “alumni spotlights” for social media, the annual newsletter, the website, etc.; to create updates for the “alumni news” section of the MHS newsletter; to highlight during recruitment information sessions. And if you haven't joined the MHS MA Alumni Network group here on LinkedIn, please do!
