It was estimated in 2022 that 3% of global carbon emissions come from the maritime industry, that figure is expected to rise to 10% by 2050. If we are serious about cutting these emissions, we have the technology today to cut that figure to near zero. Nuclear energy is clean, cheap, and safe. What if we built nuclear powered ships?.. or a cable ship.
