I’ve been focusing my attention on two powerful leadership principles that in my experience are key to both ‘finishing’ off 2023 with impact and ‘starting off’ 2024 with deep intent…   The first of these is ‘Gratitude’ ... Deep appreciation remains the cornerstone for leaders intent on shaping the teams within their sphere of influence. It’s something each of us can control and when infused into authentically, can boost morale, enhance productivity and contribute to the resilience and loyalty of team members, creating a foundation for long-term success. Celebrate the small wins; and the big ones; and recognise those individual and team moments… This year and next > Look to gratitude to foster trust and inspire excellence… The second is ‘Courage’ ... As a leader who is profoundly connected to the individuals, teams and communities making a positive impact on the world, I have witnessed first-hand the power of acting with conviction; of standing up for what’s right; and of ensuring humanity shows up in the best way possible. The time to stand up is always ‘now’. Don’t let fear hold you back. This year and next > If you’re looking for a hero, be one… Thank you to each one of my connections for your support and friendship over the past 12 months. 2024 is set to be all about purposeful leadership - requiring leaders to step up, step out and influence change for good. I look forward to sharing the journey with each of you…

I feel like both these important terms are synonymous with you and your leadership Ness. Hope you also find some time for rejuvenating and refreshing.

I love this Vanessa and couldn’t agree more with both principles.
