Great explanation. I'm always trying to optimize for scale, but it's important I don't delegate stuff I have fun doing! Life is short! 😃

I'll give this a love, not just a like. But to share your ABCD, you need to be honest about your strengths and weaknesses. It's okay to have weaknesses; you can't know everything or enjoy every task. If you're not authentic, you'll struggle with listing out or even sharing the C&D part with anyone. Also, it's good to monitor, but with constructive feedback that will improve the work, not unconstructive feedback that will drag the task endlessly. There's a thin line between monitoring and micromanaging; always know when to draw the line. Don't micromanage, especially when the person is no longer new to the team or company. It sends the wrong message. And remember, it's important to trust those handling tasks. If you don't trust them, why delegate? Or why have them on your team?

Great explanations! I find it helps to also uncover our internal resistance to delegating. We all have internal reasons or fears that keep us from delegating, and identifying those can bring much more ease and clarity to the ways we make delegating harder than it needs to be!
