“Technology is neither good nor bad; it's the wielder who determines its morality. In the hands of the virtuous, it can illuminate the world. In the hands of the unscrupulous, it can cast darkness.” When I first chose to take the mod #ET5135 Business Venture Implementation under NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur), I thought I would dread the 9am-5pm Saturday classes. But Kat Neo and Jackie passionately shared their experience in the deep tech industry. This module taught me key steps to securing business fundings and devising a MOAT to ensure constant growth in the business venture. Key takeaways from this module: 1️⃣ the importance of conducting a thesis deep-dive Thorough research and analysis are vital for laying the foundation of a successful venture. By dissecting your thesis, you gain insights into market positioning, target audience, competition, and unique value proposition. Though time-consuming, these deep dives pave the way for sustainable growth and long-term success 📈📈 2️⃣ how one’s brand archetype plays into other aspects of brand marketing As an enthusiast in brand marketing, delving into the 12 brand archetypes and their impact on communication channels and tone has been truly enlightening. For instance, for a wellness company like WWF, adopting the “Caregiver” archetype was most apt. This approach entails empathetically understanding consumers' needs and offering meaningful support. The tone in their copywriting often exudes warmth, evoking a sense of comfort and connection with readers. Applying these principles in my upcoming internship opportunity is sure to enhance my marketing skills ☀️🌷 3️⃣ deep tech Deep tech encompasses a wide range of cutting-edge technologies with profound implications for various industries and societal domains. Embracing the breadth and depth of deep tech requires a holistic approach that balances innovation with responsibility, fostering collaboration, dialogue, and collective action to maximise its positive impact while minimising risks. By harnessing the full potential of deep tech in a thoughtful and inclusive manner, we can unlock new frontiers of knowledge, drive sustainable progress, and shape a brighter future for generations to come. I’ll definitely be applying these not only in my future business pitches, but also when I plan to start my own company when I make my debut as an entrepreneur! 💫 #NTUsg #NTUpreneur #entrepreneurship #ET5135 #venture #startup #entrepreneur #marketing

What I get inspired of Pathways2Tech amazing speakers. Thanks to Headstarter to bring me close to these amazing people together and their inspiring journey. Here are my key-takeaways and inspirations I got from the speakers. Justin Harper impressed me with his early exploration of different positions in different careers, which inspires me to keep exploring different roles not limited to tech. Lilly M.'s sharing gets more motivated in attending more hackathons in the future, as the intense, collaborative, creative atomsphere is what I like most. Internship at 2 startups while doing other fun stuff sounds crazy, which encourage me to maximize my time as there's so much more I can do. Shastri Mahadeo's sharing is kinda blow of mind. I was impressed in starting business from what is familar, and I cannot agree more doing startup should be problem-solving, passion-driven mindset instead of capital. That keeps me determined to focus on what I believe. Joey Wang's jouney inspires me of a difference in big techs and startups is that big tech tends to be more systematic, which makes a perfect environment of solving hard technical and theoretical problems. Ron Potok's sharing gives me insights of what to focus on projects and what I should get out of them. The emphasis I got is asking and anwsering questions, which makes me realize the importance of knowing the object itself. #PathwaysToTech #SWE #Entrepreneurship #CareerGrowth #Headstarter #Innovation

Helping India’s Biggest Brands Tell Their Story Through High-Impact Marketing Communication | Founder: क ख ग...(KA KHA GA) - Creative Writing Studio | Featured: HerCircle, Hindustan Times, Maharashtra Times, afaqs.com
As a startup founder, rewatching *The Intern* recently was like seeing my own journey unfold on screen. The film beautifully captures the unique challenges we face—constantly navigating through uncertainty, making tough decisions, and feeling the weight of responsibility. But what stood out most to me was the reminder of how crucial a supportive team is to success. My team members, much like the wise and steady intern Ben, treat the company as their own. They offer guidance during critical decision-making moments and are there to help me overcome each hurdle, instilling confidence and motivation along the way. Their loyalty, insight, and unwavering dedication are what keep us moving forward, turning obstacles into stepping stones. For any founder, this film is a reminder that it’s not just about the journey but also the people who walk alongside you. *The Intern* speaks to the heart of what makes startups thrive—a team that believes in the vision as much as you do. #TheIntern #StartupLife #Leadership #TeamSupport #Entrepreneurship #GrowthMindset #BusinessChallenges #FoundersJourney #Inspiration #Teamwork

For students interested in starting or joining a startup, the final application deadline for Cohort 4 of Catalyst XL is tonight. After having multiple students in the last Cohort start their own startups, find their co-founders, and secure startup internships, we decided we'd bring the program back even better than last time. Starting July 1st, we'll go through our 4-week curriculum on the startup ecosystem, interning with startups, making the 6 key decisions at an early-stage venture, and some useful ways to organize your work life to make room for building. You'll also get the chance to work on your own project with a team of students and pitch it at our Pitch Competition. And all of our students' favorite part: you'll meet other entrepreneurial students from around the world as you all work to complete the program and officially become Catalyst Fellows. Our goal is to save you years of painful lessons in entrepreneurship, and get you building ASAP. Comment your email and we'll send the application + more info! #collegestudents #undergraduates #university #college #startups #venture #opportunity #experience #builders #entrepreneurship

Every startup, regardless of its focus, has an impact on the world and can benefit from emphasizing climate aspects. In the coming years, being climate-friendly will be crucial, and showcasing your startup's positive impact is key. You can’t go around it anymore. Globally, 85% of people have shifted their purchase behavior towards being more sustainable – people want sustainable products. Yesterday, I had an insightful discussion with the students of Sofaer Global MBA at Tel Aviv University. We talked about Climatech, why entrepreneurs should climate-up their startups and the importance of making them climate-friendly. By showcasing your startup's climate aspects, you can demonstrate your commitment to protecting the environment and reducing your carbon footprint, differentiating your business from competitors, and creating a positive brand image. This international program, focused on new venture creation, innovation, and entrepreneurship, brings together students from around the world, to learn from the Israeli entrepreneurship and tech ecosystem. Some of these bright minds will even join us at Capital Nature for internships, and we're excited to host them. #ClimateTech #IsraeliTech #GreenStartups

Hello Connections😇!!! #Day_39 began with a mix of emotions, knowing that the end of our incredible internship journey was drawing near. 🌅 As the day started, we were blessed to have a special guest join us—an experienced entrepreneur who has navigated the highs and lows of the startup world. His guidance was invaluable as he shared insights on the true essence of startups, the seven nightmares every entrepreneur faces, and how determination can overcome any obstacle. We delved into the fascinating concepts of Blue Ocean and Red Ocean strategies, exploring how startups can carve out their own space in a competitive world. 🦈🌊 He also touched on the myths surrounding wealth creation, revealing some secret formulas for success, and discussed the various ways people are earning money and making transactions in today’s digital age. What stood out was how he simplified complex topics, sharing his vast industry experience in a way that was easy to grasp. Later in the session, we explored the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and how it’s applied in real-world startups, deepening our understanding of the structural foundations that successful businesses are built on. The day was a journey through the heart of entrepreneurship, packed with knowledge and insights that will guide us forward. As the day came to a close, Vimal Daga Sir delivered an emotional session, marking the end of our time in the auditorium where so much learning and growth took place. 😢 It was a powerful moment, reflecting on the 39 days of intense learning, new experiences, and the mindset shifts we’ve undergone. This journey has been nothing short of amazing, and I’m filled with gratitude for Vimal Daga Sir and the entire LinuxWorld Informatics Pvt Ltd family. Thank you for this life-changing experience. 🙏 Nayan Bheda sir , Bhavesh Kothari sir #bethecreator #BeTheCreator #Day39 #Entrepreneurship #StartupJourney #BlueOceanStrategy #BusinessModelCanvas #Learning #Gratitude #LinuxWorld #VimalDaga #EndOfAnEra #NewBeginnings

Many students come into Catalyst with only a mild interest in entrepreneurship, but come out four weeks later ready to commit to building a business they believe in. It's a crazy thing to observe, and I've spent a lot of time wondering how on Earth our program makes that happen. So here's my best guess: 1: Students get connected with a community where building is the norm; not the exception. This support system is wildly powerful and has led to the formation of multiple co-founding teams. 2: We have a dense curriculum on forming viable startup ideas, launching fast, getting first customers, and the mindsets of the most successful entrepreneurs. And we put skills into practice every week at our Workshops. 3: Our Pitch Competition gives everyone an excuse to dream up an idea fast, try to prove it can work, and showcase it in front of the entire community. So by the end of the 4 weeks, students' beliefs are completely shaken about how possible entrepreneurship is for them. They see that it doesn't take loads of money, and you don't need to be Jeff Bezos. After observing all of this with Cohort 4, we couldn't wait--we decided to come right back with our next program launching this September. I'll link more info and the application in the comments. This is for the students who say they want to start a business "one day", but don't know how to take the leap. If that's you, we'd love to see your application come through. #entrepreneurship #venture #innovation #building #collegestudents #university #fellowship #internship #opportunity #career #startup
