Osaka Companies ・Majority of the companies are medium/small size, therefore, although it is mainly smaller order but the order come fast (often within 1 year). ・Companies are more open to international companies with no track record in Japan. ・Good for initial market entry due to quicker decision-making and openness to new partnerships. Will EU Cosmetic Products Regulation Updates Affect Your Products? The EU Commission has officially published amendments to the EU Cosmetic Products Regulation (CPR), restricting or banning nine cosmetic ingredients. With transition periods starting from the end of the year, the CTPA - Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association shares with Global Cosmetic Industry an overview of the affected ingredients, including retinol/retinyl acetate/retinyl palmitate, alpha arbutin, arbutin, 4-methyl benzylidene camphor (4-MBC), genistein, daidzein, kojic acid, triclosan, and triclocarban.
