Here are my thoughts. Understand I spent 9 years on the state of NH ‘s RCP licensing board six as president. We all know NH is one of the more challenging states the achieve a license to practice. That being said and fully admitting our profession has issues. How does compact licensure improve RCP ‘s ability to work in another state? What and how do you propose to control issues related to disciplinary actions against a persons license in one state who than picks up and moves to another and easily gains licensure to practice solely based on a compact? The same issues and potential malfeasance just moves on and is not dealt with according. These are real issues the nursing what’s faced with compacts. The other issue for NH is a lack of affordable housing. Sure I can get a license more easily but still can’t afford to live there or find a home. Before we jump off the cliff there are real potential problems that need a solution. My two cents. Thanks everyone

If have to be honest. Not a huge proponent of compact licensure. Nursing has had in the past issues with these types of agreements.
