In our workshops, we teach that repetition is the mother of mastery. No one exemplifies this more than Katie Ledecky. Her dominance in swimming isn't just about raw talent; it's about countless hours of repetition. Stroke after stroke, lap after lap, year after year. According to The New York Times, it's estimated that Ledecky swims about 37 miles a week. "That adds up to 1,900 miles a year, and it means eons of staring at the black line that runs along the bottom of a pool." The result? Ledecky now has won 14 Olympic medals, nine of them gold, beating her own record for the most medals won by an American woman in Olympic history. She has 23 of the top 25 times in the 800-meter freestyle and 24 of the top 25 times in the 1,500. ⚡ Who's the most successful athlete in the world? Its really debatable but many consider Michael Phelps to be one of the greatest with 28 Olympic medals achieved for his feats in swimming. But do you recognize this woman? I'm guessing not. This is Trischa Zorn. She's also an incredible swimmer. As a matter of fact, she almost DOUBLED Phelp's medal achievements with a whopping 55 medals! 41 of which are GOLD. Why don't you know her? 2 reasons, in my opinion: 1) the platform she competed on - the Paralympics, she's blind since birth. 2) because she had no content - no pageantry, no commercials, nothing buzzworthy was shared. My point here is that when it comes to marketing your business (or yourself), the platform/arena/niche/market you compete in matters dramatically. As does the CONTENT you need to produce.
