I am sure many of us have come across and for that matter keep on coming across 2 conflicting situations at a point in life ➡ where you want to carefully tread along the path for both of them. You want to ensure you neither end up jeopardizing the outcome for either of them nor you want to miss out on enjoy the benefits that come along for both situations. Basically you want the journey on both the paths to be always smooth and outcomes in your favor. It rarely happens and life would become too predictable if it was always so easy. . . . This is categorized as " One trying to enjoy the best of both worlds by trying to manipulate the variables of the situation" ....or in different words its also famously described as " You want to have your cake and eat it too" But guess what, when it's decision time ➡ you got to take a decision either ways. How do you navigate such situations? The truth is you can't always make everyone happy and satisfied, but what matters is to ensure that being in a position of making a decision ➡ you are always satisfied after taking a certain decision & never second guess yourself. Things we should keep in mind: 👉 Be honest to yourself and others involved in the situation - helps keep the integrity aspect intact and let's the other person measure your character. 👉 Never manipulate the others involved as most often it comes to bite back and people are smart enough to figure things out. 👉 Carefully evaluate what you want to achieve. What are you gaining Vs what are you loosing if you have to choose one situation over the other. 👉 What is best for you not just short-term but even long-term 👉 Are you growing as a person from the aftermath of the decisions you take in managing these 2 situations? 👉 Some people will get impacted by your decision and not necessarily happy about the outcome , but what defines a character of the person is how you get past it and look at the grandeur picture. We have one life to live and hence carefully making decisions is the key to sustained happiness and peace. I have always believed in the power of "Execution" vis a vis the power of just strategizing & planning. . . A strong plan/strategy is key & certainly helps you put the pieces together, but the real game is in #Execution as there are many variables (accounted/unaccounted) that can pose a challenge while execution. Many of us at the start of the year set some steep goals for ourselves. The most common ones are around ⭐ Weight reduction/Getting in shape ⭐ Upskilling oneself in some specific domains ⭐ Detaching from the negativity of social media etc. Let's take the first one as example. Despite all the required planning like the start date, diet to follow, food to be avoided, how near/far is the gym, goals for first 90-180 days etc.... we tend to ignore/fail to anticipate variables like: ➡ Gym facility <-> equipment quality ➡ Ability of the instructor to align to your goals and mission ➡ One's innate ability to get up each day ➡ Understanding of our limits  ➡ Traffic and Time investments ➡ What will you compromise Vs what will you gain ➡ Family's choices for food may not necessarily align with yours and last but not the least ➡ Support of your spouse/family. (Without this one - there is hardly any progress one can make) Now unless you get into the execution mode, start facing these variables - you cannot experience and hence you most probably find difficulty adapting to situations. That being said, we can get better at planning by dissecting our goals, deep understanding of the variables and their impact on ourself and others around us --> leading to improving our execution capabilities. Life will keep on throwing many objections/obstacles in front of you from time to time. That is how life is designed to operate. If we sit on them thinking that someone somewhere somehow things will be taken care off - not gonna happen. All we need is a will to get started, dedication to continue and self-belief to reach oour goal and a strong structure to execute.

Sharing a thought provoking lesson I came across today once again after 2 years or so... Didn't stick with me or make an impact at that point in time, but once I truly embraced it --> it brought about a lasting effect. Slow Success Builds Character & Fast Success Builds Ego So don't pray for it come quick......... . . . Instead pray that you have the Wisdom to make it stick It is such a powerful philosophy and one that should be practiced with the right Intent <> Determination <> Discipline <> Consistency. Since the beginning of this calendar year, I have started witnessing the multiplier effect that CONSISTENCY backed up by DIRECTION can have on your inner character, your overall personality as well as it contributes to your ability to deal situations. Slow and step by step effort in the right direction means constant realisation of happiness, satisfaction. Delayed gratification makes you wise enough to appreciate it. Success or Failure isn't a problem and should never be viewed as one. You just got to keep going and keep showing up.!!! You are the greatest project you will ever work on. Restart 🔅 Reset 🔅 Refocus

In my experience of working with different #technology companies , I have come across situations & conversations where we realise that you will have different type of buyer personas within the same prospect and them depicting different behaviours depending upon situations . Not just differentiated by their role within the #Enterprise but what significance your technology holds for them at that point in time. Example: Something we believe is a must have tool in the arsenal of a CFO who is the buyer persona, but still decides not to invest for reasons and variables at play in that point in time. Some key factors that determine how successful you will be in positioning your offerings ➡ Your innate ability to position your technology offerings and closely marrying it to the problems the buyer organization faces. ➡ Timing of the conversation also plays atn imp role as alignment on priority between you and the buyer may be different ; order of priority for buyer organization within the management committee members may be different. ➡ Maturity of the Buyer organization in terms of the people and their processes. ➡ Buyer organization not on the same page in terms of the short term and long term impact post the technology platform is implemented ➡ Lack of a strong business case and value proposition for the Buyer organization at that point in time. ➡ Macro-economic or global factors playing a deterrent in the decision making process which stops the buyer organization to invest with you. Last one is something that is rare but could also become a hurdle in your path to success and where you as a person have probably no control . . . . ➡ Lack of team/resources within the buyer organization to own up the implementation and responsibility of governing and roll-out which could restrict the buyer to invest.
