Join us for a discussion series on Workplace Culture! Let's talk about what may be lacking in today's workplace culture. Workplace culture refers to the shared values, beliefs, norms, and behaviors that characterize an organization and its employees. It encompasses the overall environment, attitudes, and interactions within the workplace. HR and institutional perspectives view workplace culture differently. While HR primarily focuses on managing and shaping the culture, the institutional perspective looks at how culture aligns with the broader objectives and identity of the institution. Some common challenges and areas of improvement that are often cited in contemporary workplace cultures include diversity, equity and inclusion, mental wellbeing, work-life balance, leadership development, and employee recognition. What other areas do you think need improvement in the workplace? Join us and share your thoughts!
