Climate change poses many challenges with wide-ranging effects. However, we can use #opengov methods to ensure sustainable climate action. Explore case studies on how OGP members are doing so below. #EarthDay

When it comes to reducing greenhouse gases, the solution is simple. Radically reduce fossil fuel burning, now. The earlier we do it the cheaper it is. Everything else is marginal at best, and distraction at worst. The 'how' is still challenging, but surmountable with focus. We can influence this by making active choices in four big areas: - what we eat (less meat is the easiest) - how we heat (reduce, insulate and electrify) - how we travel (public transport and active travel) - where our money is (look at MotherTree ) Voting could be powerful too, but it seems that most politicians now are followers rather than leaders. So make it easy for them to see the long-term path ahead, and not be distracted by lobyists' trinkets.
