If you’ve been part of the LCM family for some time, you are already familiar with our annual gifting tradition. Each year, two charitable organizations are selected by two of our team members to receive a donation on behalf of you, our clients. Nearly always, the charities have a special meaning to the people who chose them. Our goal is twofold. First, we want to put our mission to ‘invest wisely, live abundantly, and give purposefully’ into action by giving back to our community. Second, we want to familiarize you with charities that we believe are worthy not only of our own donations, but of yours as well. #giving #fiduciary #topRIA #DAFGiving360 #financialplanning

Blood Donation Update! 🩸 For our ‘40 for 40 Challenge’ we pledged to donate enough blood to facilitate 40 transfusions- by our calculations that is 14 donations. We are making significant headway, having donated 7 times. However, despite the NHS’ desperate appeal for blood donations, there is unfortunately a shortage of staff. Due to this, many of our team members have experienced cancellations and have been unable to rebook until 2025. Although, all is not lost! We have decided to extend our donation timeframe into 2025, to ensure TPI successfully donate 14 times and do our part to reduce the blood shortage. At the end of the day, our 40 for 40 fundraiser is first and foremost for charity, and we are committed to doing our upmost to help those in need. We encourage you all, if you are able to, to donate blood at this desperate time. We know TPI will continue beyond our goal of 14 donations. This year, Veda’s winning trivia teams chose Undue Medical Debt to receive a $2,500 donation. Continuing the exciting momentum we're seeing in the philanthropic world, this fascinating article from Wealth Briefing highlights that 77% of US family offices support charities by giving them access to their aircraft, and that 44% of them say they support the Corporate Angel Network, which is a US-based 501 non-profit organization working with cancer patients to get best treatment by the use of free travel on corporate aircraft.
