Understanding the difference between these two are crucial in the business world because making decisions based on incorrect interpretations of data relationships can lead to ineffective or harmful strategies. A business might notice that higher website traffic correlates with increased sales. However, simply driving more traffic to the site doesn't necessarily increase sales unless the traffic is targeted and matches the product offering. This distinction helps businesses allocate resources effectively and create strategies that are truly impactful.

#teaching #florida #teachinginflorida I learned the term moral injury the other day. We talk a lot about the burnout of teachers, but I think moral injury is also an incredibly relevant factor. You want to engage students in critical thinking BUT you have to teach to the standardized tests. You want to provide creative lessons BUT you have $300 per year for classroom supplies and you can't afford to buy extra items yourself. You know that your work-life balance is important BUT you're working a second job because you don't get a step payrise until year 17. You know that indepth, individualized feedback is valued by your students and helps them grow BUT you're teaching one or two extra classes to make ends meet, so you have around 175 students and zero planning time. It's hard. As a teacher, what is your most challenging moral injury?

So simple. Would help to make the business world a bit more appealing to value-adding professionals with a good EQ (that both the business community and the world in general are in desperate need of to end the modern epidemic of narcissism in which common sense is not that common). #redefinemeaning

Nice one! Clarify what the meeting is for: make a decision OR inform. Clarify who chairs. Clarify how long it will last. Stick to it.

You can run short meetings, OR, if you practice #TeamFlow you don't have to run any meetings at all. Instead of meetings, #CollaborativeConversations are run by flow facilitation trained managers which only require the two people that must be a part of the live discussions. Recorded and summarized by the #flowfacilitator with help from #AI, the rest of the meeting attendees asynchronously add their own video responses (to capture emotive communication, not just text) which the flow facilitator can then generate the collective insights and next action items from. Conducting a string of collaborative conversations with a mapped visualization of the discussive progress, keeps the team flowing and allows for additional flow benefits like mapped gratitude and recognition, opportunities for inventive expansion, skill gaps and mentorship opportunities and so much more that helps to push teams towards #maximummomentum. The Team Flow Institute is a team science institute based on Dr. Jef van den Hout's in-person team flow work and specialized for decentralized teams. If your team is suffering from the hidden frictions of team work, you can sign up for our new, 90-minute Team Flow assessment to discover high friction areas and the strengths you already possess to help work on them.
