What an incredible trip it has been last month! 👩🚀 My 1-week business trip to Australia was a whirlwind of activity, but immensely rewarding. I had the opportunity to visit two of our locations of voestalpine High Performance Metals Australia (https://lnkd.in/gwwbGxdP), where I witnessed firsthand their unique business model, built upon speed and delivery convenience for their customers — key elements that drive their success. One of the highlights of the visit in Australia was conducting a Robotics potential analysis with voestalpine High Performance Metals DIGITAL SOLUTIONS GmbH fellows. The insights we gained are poised to drive significant advancements in our operations. On my way back, I stopped over in Singapore for a day to meet with our regional headquarters as well as Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) (https://lnkd.in/gVXw8Unv). It was truly impressive to observe a large-scale "test bed" of Industry 4.0 for automotive assembly, which is essentially a real production environment. The innovative approaches and technologies in use were eye-opening, and there's so much we can learn from their experience. Thanks to Alpesh Patel for inviting us and showing Vinod Kumar and me around. Business trips like these are tightly timed and demanding 😅, but the benefits are unparalleled. Personal exchanges are crucial—they build stronger relationships, foster deeper understanding, and drive collaborative innovation.
