Perkins V is the primary federal investment in career and technical education. Here are 3 of our favorite ways for schools and districts to use it: 🥇 Enhance curriculum and program development — enabling schools to develop new courses, integrate cutting-edge technology, and update existing materials to meet workforce demands. 🥈 Expand professional development for educators — which not only boosts teacher effectiveness but also enhances the learning experience for students. 🥉 Modernize equipment and facilities — to improve student engagement by offering practical experiences that mirror real-world scenarios. My absolute favorite videos to make are the ones that market life change for an audience. Both small and big life changes. The brands / organizations that are focused on life change of their customer, client, end-user will always win over the ones focused on simply turning a dollar. When I look back on all of the clients who’ve asked Fire Tribe to help with video content or a campaign - the ones that were the most successful were about marketing products that kept their audience’s life change central to the story. What should this data indicate for you? We humans are emotionally selfish first. We invest our time and money into things that will help us change our life for the better. It doesn’t matter if you’re a college marketing programs with obvious life change or you sell a super niche industry invention where end user life change isn’t obvious: Position your viewer as the protagonist of your brand’s story and you will see gains in your KPI’s. Message for life change (big or small, the more obvious the transformation the better) and you increase your “insurance coverage” that your marketing campaign will be successful. This article highlights the critical importance of prioritizing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, along with fostering a foundational understanding of intersectionality (the diverse identities that every person embodies). Educators hold the responsibility to teach essential social skills and cultivate healthy, inclusive social environments. Neglecting this duty risks hindering students' success and perpetuating a lack of empathy within educational spaces, ultimately undermining institutional integrity and straining relationships among educators, administrators, and students.
Today's youngest college students face a scary future. They tend to be risk-averse and distrust administrators and faculty members. Colleges that help them feel connected will flourish and contribute to a thriving society.
