I have to admit, I get a lil "Greta" when I: 👉 See one line about instructional design theory and learning principles in job descriptions, the rest is eLearning dev stuff. 👉 See recommended academic course whose learning objectives start with "understand" and do not specify any degree of performance. 👉 Watch YouTube videos by well-known LnD figures diluting the craft of the training profession i.e. there's no one way to do needs analysis? 👉 Interview recent Master degree graduates and they cannot explain the application or use of a single learning theory. #learninganddevelopment #instructionaldesign #elearning #talentdevelopment

Across sectors, people in different roles are called on to design learning experiences. Curriculum design, instructional design...call it what you will, the design of learning experiences is a high impact capability. And, for anyone wishing to get started off on developing this capability, I highly recommend this program happening in Bengaluru (Aug. 8-10). In fact, I cannot recommend it enough. Praveen Kumar Naidu is one exceptional guru and the DFELE program he led is among the best investments I have made in my life. Think of it as a three-day true masterclass because that is what it is.
