Louis Kosiba is an Annuitant Trustee and former Executive Director of IMRF. He was responsible for 200+ co-workers and all operations. Important work included: relationship management with Illinois General Assembly; press/media; local units of government. Within IMRF, important work included: Board of Trustees; strategic planning; investments; funding; benefit processing; customer service; staff development; cyber security; auditing; information technology; legal issues. Upon exiting in 2017, Mr. Kosiba said, "Many things are going right here. IMRF will be in good hands when I leave." He has shifted focus to volunteering, tutoring, and mentoring students in high school and college. "I think helping people become mainstreamed into society would be a good thing for me to do," he said.
