The financing market has changed significantly over the past two years in the Nordics. Which changes are here to stay and what is the role of alternative lenders in complementing existing funding sources in the Nordic market?’   These were some of the questions discussed when Lesley Lanefelt, our Head of Nordic Investments at Velo Capital, participated in an insightful panel discussion titled ‘What is on the mind of investors?’ at the Arctic Securities Real Estate Investor Day in Stockholm alongside industry leaders such as Anne-Jan Jager, Oscar Thoeger Maltesen, and moderator Michael Johansson.   During the panel discussion, Lesley emphasized the importance of understanding the perspectives of both equity and debt investors in today's market. With positive interest rates and increased regulation, it is important to rethink the real estate capital structure.   At Velo Capital, we firmly believe that alternative lenders play a central role in complementing existing funding sources, ensuring a liquid Nordic funding market, and driving the green transition.   A heartfelt thank you to the Arctic team for a great day.
